Welcome to day 1 of our comprehensive journey exploring men’s health and well-being.

  • According to the CDC, “suicide was the second leading cause of death among adults aged 15-64 years in the United States from 2010-2017”...

  • Today, mental health disorders are the leading cause of disability worldwide, generating more years lived with disability than any other cause...

  • Only 12% of adults in the United States reported talking to someone about their mental health needs...

Throughout the month of November we will discuss various factors contributing to men’s mental health, including cultural norms, social support networks, and the role of gender identity.

We’ll also explore practical strategies for fostering conversations around men’s health and mental well-being, such as: creating safe spaces for dialogue and advocating for policies that promote mental health equity.

We hope to empower individuals and communities to take proactive steps towards fostering a healthier and more inclusive world for all.
